Get ready for a gorgeous start to the week across Greece as summer teases its return with clear skies and warm sunshine blanketing the country.

Temperatures will climb comfortably, ranging from 5°C in the cool early hours of Western Macedonia to highs around 28-29°C in Thessaly and the southern mainland. The islands won’t be left out either—expect a balmy 25–27°C in the Aegean and Crete.

Winds will be on the lively side, especially over the South Aegean and the Corinthian Gulf, where strong westerlies could reach up to 6 Beaufort. Elsewhere, northwesterlies will keep things fresh with speeds of 4–5 Beaufort.

Attica will see a few passing clouds, with a light breeze turning slightly throughout the day. Highs will peak near 27°C, ideal for enjoying the great outdoors.

Thessaloniki follows suit with scattered clouds and mild winds, with temperatures nudging 25–26°C.

Do keep in mind: late night and early morning hours may come with pockets of reduced visibility—drive safe and sip that morning coffee a little slower.
