Applications for Greece’s updated “Tourism for All 2026-2027” program open Wednesday, August 5, offering eligible residents digital vouchers worth up to €600 for accommodation at hotels and other lodging facilities across the country.
The program, implemented by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the ministries of Economy, Development and Digital Governance, aims to support Greek households and boost domestic tourism amid ongoing inflationary pressures.
The initiative will run in two phases: the first until June 30, 2027, and the second until December 31, 2027. Beneficiaries will receive an intangible digital debit card that can be used directly for accommodation expenses.
Application dates and AFM schedule
The application platform at vouchers.gov.gr/tourism4all-2026-2027 opens on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. and will remain open until Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Applications can be submitted online using Taxisnet credentials or through Citizen Service Centers (KEP).
To avoid system overload, applications will initially be submitted according to the final digit of applicants’ tax identification number (AFM):
- August 5: AFM ending in 1 and 2
- August 6: AFM ending in 3 and 4
- August 7: AFM ending in 5 and 6
- August 8: AFM ending in 7 and 8
- August 9: AFM ending in 9 and 0
- August 10-21: Applications open for all AFMs
Applicants must also be registered with the National Communication Registry (EMEp) for two-factor authentication via SMS.
Voucher amounts up to €600
The subsidy amount depends on beneficiaries’ social or income category and whether the voucher is used during the high or low tourism season.
- Basic subsidy: €200 during the high season and €300 during the low season.
- Single-parent families, families with three children and retirees: €300 during the high season and €400 during the low season. The retiree category applies to those with a final pension decision issued by December 31, 2025.
- People with disabilities of 67% or more and families with children with disabilities: €400 during the high season and €600 during the low season.
- Large families with four or more children: Receive an additional €50 per child from the fourth child onward.
Income criteria
The program is open to all adult individuals with tax residency in Greece who meet the income requirements based on the 2024 tax year.
For single individuals or widowed applicants, the maximum annual income is:
- No children: €21,000
- One child: €22,500
- Two children: €24,000
- Three children: €26,000
- Four children: €31,000
- Five children: €36,000
- Six children: €41,000
- Seven children: €46,000
For married applicants and couples under civil partnership agreements, the limits are:
- No children: €33,000
- One child: €34,500
- Two children: €36,000
- Three children: €38,000
- Four children: €43,000
- Five children: €48,000
- Six children: €53,000
- Seven children: €58,000
For families with more than seven children, the income limit increases by €5,000 for each additional child.
People with a certified disability of 67% or higher, as well as parents of children with disabilities of 67% or higher, can apply regardless of income criteria.
Who cannot apply
The following groups are excluded from the program:
- People selected as beneficiaries of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) Social Tourism Program 2026-2027, regardless of whether they used the benefit.
- People selected through the Tourism for All 2025 program, except those with disabilities of 67% or higher.
How the digital card can be used
The digital voucher can be used at hotels, accommodation facilities and campsites throughout Greece, with no geographic restrictions.
The card can be stored in a smartphone wallet, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, and used for contactless payments through POS terminals via NFC technology. It can also be used for online accommodation bookings.
The subsidy can be used either in one payment or in multiple transactions.
However, the voucher covers only accommodation expenses and cannot be used for restaurants, food services or other additional costs.
