Olympiacos Piraeus this year is celebrating the centennial of its founding, with Olympiacos FC, in cooperation with adidas, unveiling a commemorative jersey and shorts that will be worn for a single match.

The commemorative centennial Olympiacos jersey highlights the popular Piraeus team’s glorious past, inspired by the characteristic “red-and-white” kit usually worn during home games.

The latest edition of the legendary red and white stripe combination was designed by a team of adidas designers to highlight the team’s historic course over the past century in both Europe and Greece.

Both the sleeves and the button-down collar feature the red-and-white stripe combination, emphasizing the team’s historic performances and milestones with the anniversary kit.

The anniversary jersey again features the team’s historic emblem, depicting a young laurel-crowned Olympic athlete on the left side of the jersey, and with the adidas brand’s original logo from 1972 on the right side of the jersey, in gold color.

The commemorative jerseys are stitched with Olympiacos’ date of foundation at the bottom: 10 March 1925.

The commemorative kit’s shorts are white – and are also adorned with the collector’s edition emblem and the adidas logo.

The commemorative uniform honors 100 years of successes and the glory of the legendary Olympiacos Piraeus. It will be available from the online Red Store, as well as at the Olympiacos boutique, and, coming soon to the adidas store (44, Ermou St., in central Athens).
