The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Hellas (AOPA) welcomed the pilots from six countries (Italy, France, the UK, Israel, Germany, and Turkey) in a three-day international event, “AOPA Hellas Fl-in 2025,” on the Aegean Island of Santorini.

The public was treated to the incredible sight of 18 diverse aircraft, ranging from ultralight and light single-engine to light twin-engine airplanes, landing on the tarmac of the idyllic Greek island on Friday, the first day of the gathering

During the second day of the meet-up, the international pilots were hosted at the local winery “Santowines,” where they experienced the famous Greek hospitality during dinner. The participants soaked up the stunning views while enjoying the traditional delicacies and the renowned Santorini wine to the sounds of Greek music.

Over the three-day event, the pilots shared experiences in a warm atmosphere, creating new friendships and taking with them priceless memories.

The organizers expressed their appreciation to Fraport Greece for providing the airport facilities and to the Hellenic Air Force (HAF) for its support for the success of the gathering.

The collaboration presents a unique opportunity to leverage aviation tourism, a niche largely unexplored in Greece.
