A human skull was discovered on Saturday morning in an olive grove in the area of Kainourgio near Agrinio, western Greece, causing alarm among local residents.
The discovery was made by a local man who was carrying out agricultural work on his property in the “Klefti” area. While clearing parts of the olive grove, he noticed an object among the trees and vegetation and, after approaching it, realized it was a human skull.
The man immediately moved away from the area and informed the authorities.
Police officers from the Agrinio Security Department arrived at the scene and secured the area. Authorities have begun a detailed investigation, searching the olive grove for any additional human remains or objects that could help clarify the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
