Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotaki was admitted to Evangelismos General Hospital for precautionary monitoring after experiencing mild discomfort during a trip to Larissa, in central Greece.
According to available information, the wife of the Greek Prime Minister felt slightly unwell while traveling by car on the national highway. For precautionary reasons, she visited a private clinic in Larissa, where medical tests did not show anything concerning. She was discharged shortly afterward and began her return journey to Athens.
Subsequently, it was deemed necessary for her to undergo further evaluation at Evangelismos hospital. Doctors decided she should remain there for monitoring in order to ensure a complete assessment of her condition.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the hospital on Friday afternoon and stayed for approximately two hours before leaving later in the evening.
Doctors recommended that she remain hospitalized for observation as a precaution.
