‘Dialogues for Athens’ Forum Day 2, Follow Live

Follow along for a second day as political, economic and cultural figures examined how the Greek capital has evolved — and where it is headed

After a full first day at TO BHMA’s “Dialogues for Athens: From Myth to the Modern City,” Forum, guests and participants have gathered at the Ceremonial Hall of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Wednesday for the next list of topics to be discussed.

On Tuesday, the Parthenon Sculptures, Greece’s housing crisis and the future of Athens took center stage as political, economic and cultural figures examined how the Greek capital has evolved — and where it is headed.

The event brought together President Konstantinos Tasoulas, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, National Economy and Finance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Culture Minister Lina Mendoni, former Deputy Prime Minister Evangelos Venizelos and Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras, among other political, academic and cultural figures.
