Public transport services across Greece are operating on adjusted schedules during the Easter holiday period, with changes in effect through Easter Monday and Tuesday.
Authorities have implemented modified timetables for buses, trolleybuses, metro lines and trams, reflecting reduced demand and holiday travel patterns.
On Easter Monday, buses and trolleybuses are running on Sunday and public holiday schedules. Metro Line 2 operates every 15 minutes, while Line 3 runs approximately every 12 minutes, with airport services every 36 minutes. Tram services are scheduled every 15 minutes.
For Easter Tuesday, services begin to gradually return toward normal levels. Buses and trolleybuses typically follow a Saturday timetable. Metro Line 1 runs every 7.5 minutes between early morning and late evening, with longer intervals later at night. Line 2 operates every 5 to 8.5 minutes until late evening, while Line 3 runs every 5 to 7 minutes during peak daytime hours, with slightly longer intervals outside those times. Tram services run every 12 minutes until late evening, then every 15 minutes afterward.
