Some ferry routes will be suspended in the southern region of the Ionian Sea due to extreme weather conditions.

According to shipping company Levante Ferries, several ferry services in western Greece were cancelled on Sunday, disrupting travel links between the Ionian islands and the mainland.

The company said that sailings from Sami to Ithaca at 07:05, and from Ithaca to Sami and Patras at 07:40, did not operate. Additional cancellations include the 13:00 departures from Patras to Sami and Ithaca, as well as the 17:15 service from Ithaca to Sami.

Ferry routes on the Zakynthos–Kyllini line were also affected, with the 09:45 departure from Zakynthos and the 11:45 sailing from Kyllini cancelled.

Passengers were advised to monitor updates from port authorities and ferry operators before traveling to ports, as further changes to schedules may occur.
