Want to dance in a silent disco party under the full moon or watch “Star Wars” under the stars? And all this with your pet too? This and much more will be happening at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) near Athens as part of its annual and popular “Full Moon Sleepovers” series.
For the three full moons of summer (June 11, July 10 and August 9), the SNFCC will be open all night and anyone with a sleeping bag, a blanket and a good mood can enjoy everything from film screenings and games to dancing and yoga for free.

On June 11 for the Strawberry moon starting at 9:00 p.m., the Full Moon Film Marathon – The Star Wars Edition.
On Thursday, July 10 starting at 7:00 p.m. celebrations for the buck moon with a film marathon, a silent disco party, hatha yoga and meditation, trivia and skill games, and pedal boat rides in the Canal.
On Saturday, August 9 for the Sturgeon moon at 21:00 pm “Pirates of the Caribbean” film marathon plus activities and happenings.

In its third year, the SNFCC’s Full Moon Sleepover program also includes a shuttle bus line: “Sleepless at the SNFCC” with additional routes running from the SNFCC to Syntagma Square.

Viewers are advised to bring mosquito-repellent, as well as a throw or blanket to spread on the ground.
The Park Kiosk will be operating throughout the night, while additional food and beverage spots will also be open until late.
