A sea of fans awaited the Olympiacos delegation to celebrate the players and the team’s coach Giorgos Bartzokas after they won the EuroLeague title on Sunday night.

The Reds defeated Real Madrid in the EuroLeague final and celebrated the club’s fourth European title.

Immediately after the final whistle, thousands of fans across the country poured into the streets to celebrate the trophy triumph. Naturally, the epicenter of the festivities was Piraeus, where Giorgos Bartzokas and his players headed following the game.

Shortly after 1 a.m., the team bus departed from OAKA Arena bound for the Municipal Theater of Piraeus. Midway through the journey, near the hotel where the delegation was staying, a massive convoy of Olympiacos supporters on motorcycles had formed a “roadblock.”

There, the delegation transferred onto open-top buses and departed around 3 a.m. for the Municipal Theater of Piraeus, escorted by thousands of motorcycles. After nearly an hour and a half, the team finally arrived at the square, where thousands of Olympiacos supporters had gathered.

Giorgos Bartzokas and his players received a hero’s welcome, with celebrations continuing into the early morning hours.
