The Athens Hispanic Film Festival (FeCHA) launches today, May 27, and runs until June 5, offering cinephiles a rich selection of acclaimed Spanish-language films. This year’s 8th edition of FeCHA will be hosted at open-air cinemas “Ellinis Cinemax Europa Cinemas” and “Aello Cinemax”, with additional screenings at the Cervantes Institute of Athens and the Hellenic American Union’s venue.

As part of the “This Is Athens City Festival” initiated by the Municipality of Athens, FeCHA 2024 brings a curated selection of 17 feature films. Additionally the festival comes with two days of parallel activities that include a tribute to Peruvian director Roberto Bonilla and the beloved “cortoFeCHA” section, highlighting the best Spanish-language short films of recent years.
