Hotel Rooftop Launches Summer Concert Series in Athens

A new live music venue opens atop the historic Olympias Hotel, offering nightly performances ranging from jazz and classical music to Greek art songs, all set against panoramic views of the Acropolis and the Parthenon

A new series of live performances to the heart of Athens is combining nightly concerts with sweeping views of the Acropolis and the Parthenon this summer.

Located on the sixth floor of the historic Olympias Hotel (near the Panepistimio metro station), the Summer Bouat aims to recreate the atmosphere of the city’s namesake intimate music clubs that became synonymous with Athens’ artistic scene—through a season of live performances under the stars.

The venue offers a program spanning jazz standards, Greek art songs, classical repertoire, and performances by artists presenting original musical projects. Standout repertoires include a tribute to Greece’s “golden bouzouki” player and singer George Zabetas on Wednesday June 1, the ILLIADOR jazz trio program on June 3, and a tribute to Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis on June 5.

The concert series is curated by Pantelis Abazis, who has assembled an eclectic lineup designed to unfold throughout the season with guest collaborations, themed evenings, and performances inspired by creativity and emotion.

Every night, audiences will be able to enjoy live music while overlooking some of Athens’ most recognizable landmarks, with the Acropolis dominating the horizon and the Parthenon providing a dramatic backdrop.

Summer Bouat “OLYMPIAS” hosts live music performances every night until July 5, 2026 at the historic Olympias Hotel, 57 Athinas Street, 6th Floor, Athens.
