Μake us preferred on Google Platforms Project 2026 will turn Athens’ Former Public Tobacco Factory into a major meeting point for independent visual art from September 17 to 20, bringing together artist-run spaces, non-profit collectives and alternative art initiatives from around the world.
The fourteenth edition will feature 66 artistic platforms and more than 1,100 creators representing 22 countries, offering visitors a broad view of grassroots contemporary art practices operating outside the traditional commercial gallery system.

Events Horizon, collective work.
The event will occupy the vast industrial halls of the 1930s Former Public Tobacco Factory, transforming the landmark into a hub for artistic exchange over four days.
Alongside the main gallery booths, the program will include live performances, curated workshops and panel talks. The event will showcase experimental work across multimedia installations, sculpture and performance art, giving visitors the opportunity to encounter emerging talent and meet artists from Greece and abroad.
With its emphasis on artist-led and alternative initiatives, Platforms Project 2026 will provide an international snapshot of contemporary creative practices developing beyond the conventional gallery system.
