A 45-year-old man was found dead inside his home in Nea Smyrni on Sunday morning, after allegedly being fatally stabbed by his father during a domestic dispute.
According to initial reports, the victim was attacked by his 71-year-old father with a sharp object in the presence of his brother at the family residence . The victim sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The brother of the victim immediately contacted the authorities, and police detained the father, who is currently being questioned as the main suspect in the case.
The motive for the attack is not yet clear, and an investigation is ongoing.
