Three tugboats and the salvage vessel Aigaion Pelagos are at the scene as preparations continue for the ferry’s relocation.

29 people were aboard

A total of 29 people were aboard the Blue Carrier 2 when the fire occurred, including 28 crew members and one passenger, a truck driver.
