A Hellenic Air Force C-130 transport plane touched down in Amman, Jordan on Friday to deliver another load of humanitarian aid for Gaza, with the shipment under the care of Jordanian authorities. The latter are tasked with getting the aid into the Palestinian enclave.
The humanitarian aid consists of six tons of medical and pharmaceutical supplies, clothing, cleaning materials and personal hygiene items.
Greece has previously sent humanitarian aid to Gaza on other occasions as well.
The development comes as The Israeli cabinet on Friday approved a ceasefire deal with the militant group Hamas, which includes the exchange of hostages between the two sides.
