A 78-year-old man was arrested in the central Greek city of Larissa after threatening a bus driver with a speargun during a roadside dispute, authorities said.
The incident unfolded when the driver of a public bus asked the man to move his car, which was blocking the vehicle’s path.
According to reports, the elderly man was attempting to enter his home garage but became frustrated because another vehicle had obstructed the road.
The situation escalated into a heated argument with the bus driver, who repeatedly asked him to move aside.

“I told him, ‘Please move, step aside, what are you saying?’” the driver recounted.
The man allegedly responded, “I’m not moving, now you’ll see,” before opening his car trunk and retrieving a speargun.
The suspect then reportedly aimed the speargun directly at the driver, saying, “You’ll have trouble with me,” causing panic among passengers and passersby.
Witnesses reacted with shock, shouting at the man to stop, while the driver later described the incident as unprecedented in his career.
Police officers arrested the man shortly afterward. Authorities filed charges against him for violating weapons laws.
He was later released pending further legal proceedings.
