The Municipality of Penteli in Greece has launched a new digital telecare service aimed at supporting elderly residents, people living alone and people with disabilities.

The initiative provides eligible residents with a certified telecare device equipped with fall detection technology, an emergency button and a direct communication system connected to a 24-hour support center.

The support center operates throughout the year and is staffed by specialized professionals, including psychologists and social workers, offering continuous assistance to beneficiaries.

According to the Municipality of Penteli, the goal of the program is to improve the safety, independence and quality of life of vulnerable residents by ensuring they can receive immediate help whenever needed.
