Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas continued his 2024 Australian Open campaign comfortably dispatching with French Luca Van Assche without dropping a set (6-3, 6-0, 6-4) and moved into the 4th round of the first Grand Slam in 2024.

The Greek faced little resistance from the French, putting on a solid performance, while the ATP 7th-ranked player did not drop a game in the second set before wrapping up the match in the final set.

Impressively, Tsitsipas had no double faults in the entirety of the match while he served 12 aces against Van Assche’s one.

Tsitsipas will now face Taylor Fritz from the US in the 4th round for a berth in the quarterfinals. The Greek holds a 3-1 lead in their head-to-head battles, with Tsitsipas losing once to the 26-year-old American on clay.
