Attica taxi drivers are protesting against unfair competition and regulatory issues and urge unions across Greece to join in solidarity.
The taxi strike will run on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The latest conflict between Greece's taxi drivers and the country's Ministry of Finance is over a sticker. But it is not just any sticker- this one is huge and informs riders that they can pay by credit card and are entitled to a receipt.
On Monday Athens will be without taxis, on account of a 24-hour taxi strike.
The strike will begin at 5 a.m. on Monday, September 9, and continue until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10
Taxi services providers who do not accept credit card payments and fail to display a relevant sticker will face a 1,000-euro fine.
