Greece’s Ombudsman has released a report detailing how Greece’s prisons and detention centers are overcrowded, dangerously understaffed, and risk the health and human rights of detainees and prisoners.
In a letter sent from Korydallos prison, Nikos Romanos writes that he is being scapegoated, and cast as “forever guilty”.
On Friday one prisoner was found dead in Kordyallos prison in Athens, and one in the Volos Youth Detention Center.
