The man had been living alone in Glossa and, according to the same sources, was the father of two boys, aged 10 and 11, who live with their mother in Albania. He had grown up on Skopelos since his teenage years and considered the island his “second homeland.”

He had worked in the construction sector for decades and was widely known and well-liked in the local community for his work ethic. Relatives say he had never expressed any concern about his health and are devastated by his sudden loss.

The Skopelos Police Department has launched a preliminary investigation to determine the exact cause of death, and an autopsy has been ordered.
