The child, the only survivor of the family, is being treated in the intensive care unit of Hippokration Hospital in Thessaloniki, where she remains intubated and continues to fight for her life. She suffered serious injuries to her head, face and chest.

The municipal authorities of Straseni, Moldova, have called on citizens to provide financial assistance to the family and help support the process of repatriating the victims’ bodies.

According to the announcement, Constantin Sirbu, his wife Lucia and their six-month-old baby died in Greece, while their daughter remains hospitalized in Thessaloniki in critical condition.

Photos of the couple have been widely shared on Moldovan social media, with users expressing their grief and calling for support for the surviving child and relatives.

The 44-year-old driver of the tanker involved in the crash was released following an order by the prosecutor, according to the information provided.
