The son of Mango founder Isak Andic has been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into the businessman’s death, which initially appeared to be a hiking accident near Barcelona in December 2024.

Jonathan Andic, the eldest son of the fashion entrepreneur, was taken into custody by Catalan police following a months-long investigation. He has maintained his innocence throughout the inquiry.

Isak Andic, 71, died on December 14, 2024, after falling from rocky terrain while hiking on a trail near Barcelona. At the time, authorities treated the incident as an accident.

However, investigators later shifted their focus toward the possibility of homicide. According to reports in the Spanish media, police identified inconsistencies in Jonathan Andic’s account of the events. Investigators reportedly found contradictions and details that did not align with evidence gathered during the inquiry.

The case was further complicated by testimony from Estefania Knuth, a professional golfer and partner of Isak Andic, who reportedly told investigators that the relationship between father and son had been strained.

Jonathan Andic was the only person accompanying his father at the time of the fatal fall.
