The return of autumn in Athens means more than just holidaymakers coming back to the city. Greek and international artists are returning to the stage, too, with an unusually packed program of live music stretching from Lycabettus Hill and Technopolis to the Dora Stratou Theatre.

For this fall preview, we have gathered the must-see concerts and live performances taking place across Athens and the wider Attica region through the end of 2026.

September 24 — Parra for Cuva

Parra for Cuva returns in 2026 with a new LP, Nacar, and a worldwide tour that opens a new chapter in his sound. Combining acoustic elements with layered electronic production, his music moves between introspection and optimism, drawing inspiration from a broad range of global influences.

Lycabettus Municipal Theatre

September 25 — Jack Savoretti

British singer, songwriter and musician Jack Savoretti has released nine studio albums to date: Between the Minds (2007), Harder Than Easy (2009), Before the Storm (2012), Written in Scars (2015), Sleep No More (2016), Singing to Strangers (2019), Europiana (2021), Miss Italia (2024) and We Will Always Be the Way We Were (2026).

One of the artists most beloved by Greek audiences, Savoretti comes to Athens for a one-off concert, marking the first stop on the European leg of his We Will Always Be the Way We Were 2026 tour.

September 26 — The Gathering

In 2025, Dutch band The Gathering began celebrating the 30th anniversary of their landmark album Mandylion with five sold-out shows at Doornroosje in the Netherlands. In 2026, the journey continues, with Greece among their stops.

With Anneke van Giersbergen at the forefront — the voice that defined an era and left an indelible mark on the atmospheric metal scene — the band will bring the timeless moments of Mandylion back to the stage, alongside favorites from their golden period.

September 29 — Slimane

Celebrating a decade since he first introduced himself to the public, Slimane presents the concept “One Piano. One Voice” — 10 Years Tour.

Joined by his close collaborator Yaacov Salah on piano, the French star returns to the atmosphere of his earliest days.

September 30 — Stavros Xarhakos: Journey into the Light — In a Universe of Love

Following the sold-out performance on September 5, composer Stavros Xarhakos once again presents a journey through the memory, history and emotions carried by Greek song.

This time, the songs on this musical journey will be performed by Babis Stokas and Iro Saia. Xarhakos conducts the performance, with the Ichodrasi percussion ensemble led by Nikos Touliatos also taking part.

September 24 — Giorgos Dalaras

For singer Giorgos Dalaras, rebetiko — the urban Greek folk music tradition that emerged in the early 20th century — is a living part of history, memory and collective identity.

For more than 50 years, he has repeatedly returned to this repertoire, looking for new interpretations and new ways of introducing it to younger generations.

As he has said himself: “Rebetiko is not a museum. It is the most living expression of the Greek soul, the most revolutionary and most vibrant form of Greek music. We still have much to learn from rebetiko. It never runs out.”

Gagarin 205 Live Music Space

September 27 — Joe Lynn Turner

Joe Lynn Turner comes to Gagarin on September 27.

The legendary voice beloved for his collaborations with Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force and Deep Purple will perform the hits from his illustrious career alongside classic rock favorites.

December 7 — KOVACS

KOVACS (Sharon Kovacs), one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary European music, arrives with a new album in tow.

She promises to captivate audiences with her unmistakable aesthetic, deeply emotional performances and cinematic sound.

September 23 — Jamie Woon

Jamie Woon is one of the most distinctive and influential voices in contemporary British soul and electronica.

The artist has achieved almost cult status by bridging soulful songwriting and contemporary electronic music like few of his generation. He arrives in one of the most creative phases of his career for two concerts that promise to leave their mark.

October 2 — The Young Gods

Swiss industrial/industrial rock pioneers The Young Gods come to Greece for the first time.

The story began in Geneva in 1982, when Franz Treichler had grown tired of the New Wave movement dominating the music scene at the time.

Franz was — and remains — an exceptional guitarist, but chose instead to experiment with a new musical “toy” of the era: a small sampler. Drawing heavily on punk and classical music, he began creating his first compositions using distorted drum loops and guitars.

Cezare Pizzi and drummer Frank Bagnoud eventually joined Franz’s vision, and The Young Gods became a reality in 1985.

October 8 — Pussy Riot

Pussy Riot, the legendary feminist and political/art collective whose activism against Vladimir Putin’s regime shook the world, comes to Athens with the award-winning Riot Days.

The performance exists somewhere between a concert, theatre, performance art and political manifesto.

Based on the book of the same name by Maria “Masha” Alyokhina, a founding member of Pussy Riot, Riot Days tells the story of the group, its iconic protest actions, the arrests, trials and imprisonments that followed the legendary 2012 intervention at Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

Through live music, spoken word, video, electronic elements and intense theatricality, the performance becomes an immersive experience that erases the boundaries between art and politics.

October 29 — Mercury Rev

One of the most influential bands in the American psychedelic scene, with a history stretching back to the late 1980s and a sound that has defied creative limitations for decades, Mercury Rev have transformed psychedelia, chamber pop, dream rock and experimentation into something deeply emotional and entirely their own.

The band, led by Jonathan Donahue and Grasshopper, returns to Athens to celebrate 25 years since the release of the legendary album All Is Dream, bringing with them one of the most distinctive catalogues in contemporary alternative music.

October 30 & 31 — Goat

The enigmatic Swedish band Goat, which has created a musical universe filled with mystery and complete artistic freedom, returns to an audience that has embraced them for another immersive live experience.

Psychedelia, Afrobeat, krautrock, funk, desert grooves, tribal rhythms and unrestrained rock’n’roll have combined to create a sound unlike any other.

November 29 — Arab Strap

Arab Strap are among the most beloved and emblematic acts on the darker side of indie rock.

The duo of Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton have spent almost three decades transforming everyday life, loneliness, love, obsessions and human weaknesses into raw poetic storytelling.

They remain utterly unique in their field — one of the reasons they continue to have such a devoted audience.

September 26 — Anna Vissi

The singer presents an all-encompassing concert spanning her career.

Telekom Center Athens

October 13 — Deep Purple / Special Guest Jayler

Deep Purple return to Greece on October 13.

Having helped define the sound of rock for more than five decades, the legendary band remains one of the most established names in international music.

Rising British band Jayler will be the special guest at the group’s only Athens appearance, creating an explosive musical meeting between rock’s past and future.

December 19 — Bryan Adams: Roll with the Punches

Bryan Adams has been touring the world for more than four decades, scoring hits that reached No. 1 on the charts in more than 40 countries.

He has received numerous accolades, including a Grammy Award, multiple American Music Awards and three Academy Award nominations, as well as five Golden Globe nominations.

October 17 — The Charlatans

The British band return to Greece after many years.

One of the groups that defined the Madchester movement alongside The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays and Inspiral Carpets, The Charlatans not only forged their own distinctive path but also remained major players during the Britpop years, alongside bands such as Oasis, Blur and Pulp.

More than 35 years after their formation, they remain as creative, adventurous and thoroughly alive as ever.

November 8 — Uriah Heep

Uriah Heep return to Greece for one final appearance as part of their farewell tour, The Magician’s Farewell.

The legendary British hard rockers will take the stage with an extensive greatest-hits set, offering a grand farewell to the Greek audience and to the countless moments they have shared over the years.

November 11 — Paradise Lost

One of the most important bands in modern metal history comes to Athens with a remarkable new album and all the highlights of their career.

More than three decades after the beginning of their career, and with more than two million albums sold, Paradise Lost remain a defining force on the darker side of metal.

November 27 — Belle & Sebastian

Belle & Sebastian’s appearance is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the iconic If You’re Feeling Sinister.

The Scottish band, one of the most important indie acts of the past three decades, will perform the entire album live, followed by a second set featuring songs from throughout their career.

December 19 — Chelsea Wolfe

The captivating American singer, songwriter and musician continues to create unique “strange” worlds in which darkness and beauty coexist inseparably, steadily attracting a new and devoted audience.

The evening’s special guest will be the exceptional A.A. Williams.

October 16 — Jamie Duffy

Just 24 years old, Jamie Duffy has emerged as one of Ireland’s most exciting young artists, combining folk, classical and contemporary influences into a sound that is both familiar and cinematic.

His debut single, Solas, became the most-streamed debut by an Irish artist since Hozier’s Take Me to Church, accumulating millions of streams across music platforms.

October 2 — Active Member: 35 Years of Low Bap Consciousness

As the group themselves put it:

“It is not an anniversary. It is a cycle that refused to close. It is the breaths that became lyrics. The lyrics that became streets. The streets that became people. As long as there are people who remember, no voice falls silent.”
