An auditory journey spanning some of the most influential artists in modern music will illuminate the Megaron Athens Garden on June 20th 2026, as performer and singer Idra Kayne joins acclaimed composer and pianist Thodoris Oikonomou for a special concert titled BLUE.

The one-night performance, scheduled for 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th, brings together songs, styles and musical worlds rarely heard side by side. From Leonard Cohen, Marianne Faithfull, Johnny Cash and James Brown to Tori Amos, Whitney Houston, Prince and Nina Simone, BLUE will explore a diverse repertoire shaped by some of the most distinctive voices in international music.

The concert will also include renditions of works from Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis, legendary songwriter Vassilis Tsitsanis, and rebetiko musician Nikos Katsaros amongst other internationally-acclaimed music stars.

At the heart of the performance are Oikonomou, one of Greece’s most respected contemporary composers and the creator behind numerous acclaimed theatre productions, and Indra Kayne, whose vocal versatility distinguishes her as one of the country’s most dynamic performers.

Together, they will guide audiences through a musical and interpretive experience built around beloved songs and landmark figures of the global music scene, offering surprises throughout the evening.

This concert is a co-production of the Megaron Athens Concert Hall and CRICOS. Ticket sales are already underway.
