The Goulandris Natural History Museum, a pioneer in environmental education and public awareness, is once again at the forefront of pressing global conversations. Recognizing biodiversity loss as one of the major challenges facing our planet, the museum presents the captivating new exhibition “BIODIVERSITY. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED.”

Using cutting-edge digital technology, the exhibition offers a powerful sensory experience through interactive displays, holograms, panoramic projections, and natural specimens. It invites visitors to explore the interconnected fabric of life—awakening curiosity, emotion, and insight—and sheds light on the true meaning and complexity of biodiversity.

Museum Biodiversity

More than a simple catalog of species, biodiversity is presented here as the ongoing struggle and evolution of life over billions of years. It is found in the genes that make each organism unique, in the ecosystems that support them, and in the complex relationships between living beings and their environment. Biodiversity is the intricate web of life to which we all belong—its preservation is inseparable from our own survival.

“BIODIVERSITY. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED.” highlights the vital role biodiversity plays in sustaining life and balance on Earth. It confronts the threats it faces, from climate change to habitat destruction, and calls for a collective shift in our way of living. The central message is clear: on this planet, everything—and everyone—is connected.
