Wholesale electricity prices climbed sharply on Friday, Sept. 25, on the Day-Ahead Market of the Hellenic Energy Exchange, with the average clearing price reaching 213.62 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh), up 21.66% from the previous day.
Prices swung across a wide range over the course of the day, falling as low as 84.52 euros/MWh and peaking at 306.40 euros/MWh.

Natural gas followed with 49,223 MWh, a 31.21% share, while imports reached 22,929 MWh, covering 14.54% of demand.
