New allegations have come to light in the investigation surrounding the death of a 19-year-old woman in Kefalonia, as one of the suspects in the case has been accused of prior drugging incidents.
A 28-year-old woman has accused the 26-year-old former weightlifter of drugging her drink in a similar incident in August 2022. She said she lost consciousness shortly after consuming a drink and only regained awareness the following day.
The woman told authorities she chose not to report the incident at the time but decided to speak out after learning about the 19-year-old’s death. Her testimony has prompted further scrutiny, with reports that other women may also have come forward with similar accounts.
Authorities are now examining all three men involved in the case for potential broader criminal activity, including drug-related offenses.

The investigation continues
The three suspects in the case of the 19- year old on Kefalonia are facing charges of voluntary manslaughter and will appear before a prosecutor on Friday
Investigators are analyzing surveillance footage that reportedly shows the 26-year-old suspect carrying the unconscious teenager out of a hotel and leaving her in a central square. The footage is considered a key piece of evidence in reconstructing the final hours before her death.
Text messages sent after the incident have further implicated those involved. According to reports, two messages sent to the victim’s friend indicated that the young woman had been left alone in the square, prompting the friend to alert both the family and police.
According to initial forensic findings, the teenager’s death has been attributed to cardiac arrest, likely triggered by cocaine use earlier that night at a hotel in Argostoli. Final conclusions are pending toxicology results.
