On Monday, unsettled weather is expected across much of Greece, with clouds becoming denser at times. Local showers and thunderstorms are likely during the morning in Thessaly, Central Greece, the Peloponnese, the Ionian Islands, Evia, and the Sporades, with a chance of rain also in the Cyclades, Crete, and the Eastern Aegean islands. Elsewhere, mainly over inland regions, occasional showers cannot be ruled out.
Temperatures will remain stable compared to previous days. In Northern Greece, values will range from 11–22°C (7–20°C in Western Macedonia). Central and Southern Greece will see 14–24°C, while in Western Greece temperatures will range from 13–24°C, reaching up to 26°C in the southwest Peloponnese. The Cyclades and Crete will record 17–25°C, and the Eastern Aegean islands and the Dodecanese 18–25°C.
Winds in the Aegean Sea will be weak and variable, occasionally reaching 4 Beaufort in the south. In the Ionian Sea, winds will start from the east, light in strength, before shifting to the northwest after midday at nearly moderate levels of up to 4 Beaufort.
In Athens, expect cloudy intervals with local showers, mainly in the morning. Temperatures will range from 17–24°C, with light and variable winds.
In Thessaloniki, the day will be partly cloudy, becoming denser at times. Temperatures will range between 15–21°C, with light, variable winds in the Thermaic Gulf.
Overall, Monday will bring a mix of cloudy skies and local rainfall, particularly in the central and southern parts of Greece, while temperatures remain mild and winds generally light.
