Greek footballer Efthymios Koulouris, who plays for Polish first-division club Pogoń Szczecin, was voted MVP for the month of April.

The former PAOK FC and Atromitos player, who scored in his team’s defeat in the Polish Cup final against Legia Warsaw (3-4), found the back of the net on eight occasions in April while he had one assist.

The 186cm forward is currently valued at an estimated 2 million euros, according to transfermarkt.com.

Koulouris, 29, is the 8th scorer in the world, equal on goals (14) with his fellow Greek, Vangelis Pavlidis, also a striker, who plays for European giants Benfica FC in Portugal.

Pavlidis, 26, tops the list of the most expensive Greek players with 28 million euros, followed by young talent Stefanos Tzimas of the German Bundesliga club FC Nuremberg, who is valued at 22 million euros. Left full-back Kostas Tsimikas, who won the Premier League with Liverpool FC, and center-back Konstantinos Koulierakis make up the top 4 most expensive Greek players on the market.
