The port city of Kalamata welcomes the 5th Peloponnese Beer Festival – Only Craft, which kicks off this Friday, August 1, with concerts, happenings and plenty of Greek crafted beer.
Now in its fifth year, the popular summer event gathers top Greek craft brewers from across the country. Beer lovers will have the chance to sample finest small-batch beers including lagers, stouts, pale ales, IPAs, porters, and pilsners made everywhere from Athens, Crete, and Santorini to Evia, Ikaria and Halkidiki.
But it’s not just about the beer. Festival-goers can look forward to live music, plenty of street food, and family-friendly entertainment each night.

This year’s music lineup features Panos Mouzourakis on Friday, August 1; Nikos Fakaros & MUSICAROI with traditional Greek music on Saturday; August 2, and popular Greek singer Eleni Tsaligopoulou who closes out the weekend on Sunday, August 3.
The event comes after the Athens edition earlier this year at the Old Depot OSY (aka Amaxostasio) in Gazi, Athens.

The festival is organized with the support of the Peloponnese Region, the Municipality of Kalamata, and the Messinia Chamber.
