Μake us preferred on Google The Agoraphobic Festival returns to Athens for its fourth edition on Sept. 18 and 19, bringing together established and emerging artists across three stages at PLYFA, with the program curated by VASSIŁINA.
The 2026 edition, known as AFF26, remains faithful to the festival’s founding principles while once again connecting different strands of Athens’ independent music scene. Its lineup moves between minimal synth, darkwave, electronic pop, avant-pop, queer rap, R&B, psychedelia and club-oriented sounds.
Among the festival’s central moments will be the return of Lena Platonos and Pan Pan. Platonos, a pioneering figure in Greek electronic music, will appear alongside artists from different generations and corners of the local scene. The festival will also reunite In Trance 95, foundational figures in Athens’ minimal synth movement since 1988, with darkwave duo Selofan and the polyphonic, electrified songwriting of Usurum.

The lineup also includes Aggelina, whose lighter R&B-pop sound offers a contrast to the festival’s darker electronic currents, as well as Evita Manji, known for detailed sound design, and Babynymph, whose work draws on a deconstructed club aesthetic.
Queer pop artist Tso, avant-pop act Tsugranes and Fruit Gillette—whose music uses dirty Eurodance to address what the festival describes as the “Greek trauma”—will add further contrasting perspectives. Queer rapper Dolly Vara will perform with Sara ATH, while Pandora represents an emerging generation of sound.
Finnish-born, Athens-based artist Jaakko Eino Kalevi and Bhukhurah will mirror the heavy, dark psychedelic drive of Psychedelic Trips to Death. Yorgas Helmet, carrying the synth-punk legacy of OΔΟΣ 55, will close the festival’s first day with drones and ritualistic sounds.
The festival’s tradition of bringing artists back for new appearances continues with Zebra Tracks, whose indie/post-punk sound will meet the distinctive electronic pop of Lewnidas. Johnny Labelle’s dark crooning and Blue Morphee’s dream-pop will be paired with the charged storytelling of Mia Maria.
Also making its first appearance is Endoepikoinonia, an act the festival says cannot easily be described without references to Outsiders, Daniel Johnston and “Saturated Hydrocarbons.”

Two days, three stages
The first festival day, Friday, Sept. 18, will feature Lena Platonos, Selofan, In Trance 95, Evita Manji, Babynymph, Psychedelic Trips to Death, Yorgas Helmet, Fruit Gillette, Tso, Endoepikoinonia, Johnny Labelle and Blue Morphee.
On Saturday, Sept. 19, the program will include Pan Pan, Usurum, Aggelina, Dolly Vara x Sara ATH, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Zebra Tracks, Tsugranes, Bhukhurah, Pandora, Lewnidas, Mia Maria and VASSIŁINA & friends.
VASSIŁINA, who is curating the three-stage program, will also close the festival alongside several figures who have been part of her journey through avant-garde music.
Four years into its run, the Agoraphobic Festival is maintaining the basic framework of its previous editions while continuing to bring together different eras, styles and approaches to alternative music in Athens.
