A 13-year-old girl was violently attacked by classmates outside a school in the Greek city of Patras, in the latest reported case of school violence in the country.
The incident took place on Friday afternoon shortly after classes ended at a middle school in the Saravali area of Patras, western Greece.
According to local reports, the teenager was assaulted by two girls of the same age for reasons that remain unclear. During the attack, the victim was reportedly punched in the face, while a third minor allegedly filmed the incident on a mobile phone.
The assault caused panic in the area, with local police launching an immediate investigation.
Authorities arrested two of the three minors believed to have been involved, while efforts are ongoing to locate the third girl who allegedly recorded the attack.
