At least six people were reportedly injured when a city bus crashed into a car at the junction of Sygrou Avenue and Kallirois Street in Athens on Wednesday afternoon.

Based on initial reports, none of the injured people are in serious condition, while it remains unclear what caused the collision.

Traffic has slowed down at the junction of Sygrou and Kallirois, as police officers are diverting oncoming vehicles along Sygrou to alleviate congestion.

Medical attention is being administered to the injured by first aid medics who arrived on the scene, with some being put on ambulance stretchers.
