A shocking video depicting the cold-blooded execution of a 42-year-old Egyptian man in the neighborhood of Kallithea, Athens, has been obtained by in.gr. The victim was live-streaming on Facebook at the exact moment he was shot dead.

According to reports, the man was sitting in his car—engine running, window rolled down—parked in the underground garage of a residential building. The ambush occurred around 1:00 a.m., when unidentified assailants approached the vehicle and opened fire, shooting him in the neck and head and fatally wounding him.

The victim, a known offender with a rap sheet for drug- and robbery-related offenses, had parked in an empty spot in the building’s lot when he was attacked.

Five 9mm shell casings were recovered from the scene, according to initial police findings. Authorities believe the gunmen had set up an ambush, indicating a possible gangland-style execution tied to score-settling.

The case is now under investigation by the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime.
