A charred body was discovered inside a house following a fire that broke out on Wednesday morning in northern Greece, according to local reports.

The incident occurred in a residential property in the village of Despoti, in the regional unit of Grevena, prompting a major response from the fire service.

Based on initial information, the fire may have been caused by the explosion of a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder. Firefighters who arrived at the scene to extinguish the blaze found the victim’s body inside the house.
