Firefighters were called to an apartment fire in the port city of Piraeus on Monday evening.
The blaze broke out at around 6:45 p.m. in a first-floor apartment on Kalliga Street. Fifteen firefighters, five fire engines and a ladder truck were deployed to the scene.
Police imposed traffic restrictions in the area as emergency crews battled the fire.
Traffic was diverted at the intersections of Charilaou Trikoupi and Kalliga streets, as well as Charilaou Trikoupi and Iroon Polytechniou streets.
No immediate information was available on injuries or the cause of the fire.
