A ceremony on Monday witnessed the delivery of 431 new motorcycles for use by Greek Police (EL.AS) officers.

“The most active units of Greek police, such as the rapid response unit, the DI.AS unit and traffic police, all of them who are  present every time a citizen calls authorities, all these units—and the Greek Police as a whole—are receiving more than 400 new motorcycles today. Our pledge and commitment is that we will always stand by the citizens, we will work daily for safety and we will fight crime,” Minister of Citizens’ Protection Michalis Chrisochoidis said during the ceremony.

He was accompanied by the force’s top leadership.
