Due to the high volume of applications for the 2026–2027 Social Tourism Program for Employed and Unemployed Workers, run by Greece’s Public Employment Service (DYPA), the deadline has been officially extended for all tax ID numbers (AFM) through Wednesday, April 29, at 11:59 PM.

The platform will be continuously monitored throughout the application process to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service for citizens.

Who is eligible:

Private sector employees with a dependent employment relationship, insured with e-EFKA under a dependent employment relationship with contributions toward DYPA’s unemployment fund at any point during the 12 months preceding the application deadline, or unemployed individuals registered in DYPA’s Digital Job Seekers Registry with a continuous unemployment period of at least three months as of the deadline date.

Income requirements:

Up to €16,000 for single individuals; up to €24,000 for married couples, increased by €5,000 per child; up to €29,000 for single-parent families, increased by €5,000 for each additional child after the first.

Service providers:

Participating providers are tourist accommodations and ferry companies. Provider applications are accepted from April 21 through May 10, 2026 via gov.gr. Providers registered in the previous year’s program are automatically included, provided they update their participation documentation.
