The Milwaukee Bucks’ star forward picked up 29 points on the evening, while picking up six rebounds, dishing out two assists and making four steals.
“Nole”, as the Serbian tennis great is widely known, has never hidden his enthusiasm for Greece and its national teams.
He and his family, in fact, have chosen southern coastal Athens, and specifically the upscale Glyfada district, as a semi-permanent or permanent home, a location close to the sea and top-notch tennis clubs.
The highly popular Djokovic’s arrival in Greece also coincides with the holding of the ATP 250 Hellenic Championships tournament this November at the Athens Olympic tennis complex, an event local tennis aficionados and the country’s tennis federation hope will be a precursor to luring even biggest events on the annual competition calendar.
