A shocking incident unfolded on Monday at the Psachna Health Center on the Greek island of Evia, where a 21-year-old woman was brought in unconscious after reportedly being stung by a wasp.

According to local news outlet evima.gr and accounts from family members, the young woman had been stung by a wasp shortly before collapsing, without having the chance to call for help.

Doctors at the Health Center immediately launched intensive resuscitation efforts, following all prescribed medical protocols in an attempt to save her life. Despite their extensive efforts, they were unable to revive her.

According to reports, the 21-year-old arrived at the health center in extremely critical condition. Her body was later transferred to Chalkida General Hospital, where the necessary procedures will be carried out.

The exact cause of death is expected to be determined following an autopsy and forensic examination.
