Μake us preferred on Google The Athens Coffee Festival will bring coffee professionals, baristas and enthusiasts together in Athens from September 26 to 28, turning the city’s Technopolis venue into a three-day celebration of specialty coffee, food and entertainment.
The festival will feature more than 100 premium coffee brands and micro-roasteries alongside tastings, workshops, coffee competitions, live DJ sets, street food, special performances and stand-up comedy.
Thousands of people from across the coffee industry, as well as home baristas and coffee lovers, are expected to attend. The festival offers visitors the chance to discover coffee varieties from established brands and smaller micro-roasteries, while learning about developments and innovations in the industry and sampling coffees prepared by award-winning baristas.

At the heart of the program are the Coffee Matters presentations, which combine workshops and talks focused on coffee knowledge, innovation and creativity. Coffee professionals, including international and Greek champions and members of SCA Greece, will share their expertise and introduce audiences to different aspects of the coffee world.

The festival will also host the Greek Coffee Championships, organized by SCA Greece, the Greek representative of the international Specialty Coffee Association. Established to promote education and awareness around coffee quality among professionals and the public, the association supports the festival’s coffee-focused program.
The championships will see established and emerging baristas compete at the national level, with the goal of earning the opportunity to represent Greece at the corresponding world championship.

Beyond coffee, the festival is designed as a broader social and cultural experience. Its dance floor will feature live sets by internationally known DJs as well as music and dance performances, while a dedicated street food area will offer food to accompany visitors’ coffee. Stand-up comedy performances will add another element of entertainment to the three-day event.
