Greece’s Foreign Ministry has expressed deep concern over repeated drone incursions into Romanian airspace, describing them as violations of international law and reaffirming its support for Romania.

In a statement posted on X, the ministry said Greece is “deeply concerned by the repeated incursions of unmanned aerial vehicles into Romanian airspace.”

Greece Reaffirms Support for Romania

The Foreign Ministry stressed that any violation of the airspace and territorial integrity of a sovereign state constitutes a clear breach of international law and is unacceptable.

“Greece expresses its full solidarity with its EU partner and NATO ally, Romania,” the ministry said.

The statement comes amid repeated reports of drones entering Romanian airspace, prompting Greece to publicly reaffirm its support for its regional ally.
