Patmos Aktis, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, won gold for Best Greek Beach Resort and silver for Best Greek Resort at this year’s Greek Hospitality Awards, held in Athens on Oct. 23.
The awards follow a 30-million-euro renovation funded by the SMERemediumCap (SMERC) investment fund, which added 33 suites and maisonettes, bringing the resort’s capacity to 105 rooms.
The upgrade also brought the hotel into Marriott International’s The Luxury Collection brand, part of the Marriott Bonvoy travel programme.
The resort said the awards capped a highly successful season and reflected its team’s commitment to service quality.
Wellness was a central focus of the revamp. The renewed ANASA Wellness & Spa draws on Blue Zones longevity principles and the island’s spiritual heritage, built around breathing, flow and regeneration.
This season the resort also introduced ANASA Wellness Journeys, offering guided breathing techniques, art workshops and meditation.
On the dining side, it launched an exclusive partnership with Italian restaurant Barolo.
