Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis sent a message in honor of the Archangel Michael, on the occasion of the celebration of the patron saint of the Hellenic Air Force in a post on social media, thanking Greek pilots for their services.

“A day of pride, a day of honor, a day of emotion for the women and men of our Air Force. For all those who daily give their best and risk their lives for the homeland. We are grateful to you,” the Prime Minister wrote on the X platform (formerly Twitter).

Accompanying the post, Mitsotakis shared a video showcasing the activities of the Hellenic Air Force.

The aerial display for the celebration of the patron saint of the Hellenic Air Force, Archangel Michael, was impressive and took place on Sunday at Faliro, Piraeus, the country’s largest port.

Helicopters and aircraft of all types from the Hellenic Air Force, the Single Aircraft Display Teams, F-16 “Zeus,” T-6A “Daedalus,” as well as the anniversary aircraft Spitfire, all took part in the event.

Imposing fighter aircraft soared above the sky of Faliro, making their presence particularly felt and thrilling the audience in attendance.
