Μake us preferred on Google Pool Your Cinema has returned to Athens for the 2026 summer season, offering open-air movie screenings on the rooftop of the Hotel Grande Bretagne through September 30.

Held beside the hotel’s rooftop pool, the seasonal cinema presents a lineup of Hollywood blockbusters, classic films, and recent releases in an outdoor setting overlooking central Athens and Lycabettus Hill. Screenings take place every Thursday through Saturday, beginning at 9:15 p.m.
Instead of traditional movie theater concessions, guests are served a premium finger-food menu prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.
The current program includes A Big Bold Beautiful Journey (July 16-18), directed by Kogonada; Rental Family (July 23-25), directed by Hikari; Materialists (July 30-August 1), directed by Celine Song; and Now You See Me: Now You Don’t (August 6-8), directed by Ruben Fleischer. The screening program will be updated periodically as tickets become available through the Grande Bretagne website.
Included with each ticket purchase is a glass of wine or beer and the specially curated Pool Your Cinema menu. Seating is limited to the lounge chairs surrounding the pool, and advance reservations are recommended due to limited capacity.
