Three Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) entered the Aegean on Tuesday, recording four violations of flight information region (FIR) rules and two breaches of Greek national airspace, according to Greece’s General Staff of National Defence (HNDGS).

The incidents were reported in the northern and southeastern Aegean, the military said in a statement.

The HNDGS said the aircraft were identified and intercepted by Greek armed forces in accordance with international rules and established operational procedures.

Greek authorities did not report any further escalation following the interceptions. Turkey did not immediately comment on the incidents.
