At the heart of Paris Haute Couture Week, Celia Kritharioti unveiled her Fall/Winter 2026–27 collection, Frozen Eden, delivering one of the season’s most evocative and theatrical presentations. The historic Greek fashion house once again affirmed its place among haute couture’s leading names with a show that transcended the traditional runway, unfolding instead as a richly layered narrative of symbolism, emotion, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Inspired by a frozen Garden of Eden suspended in the moments after the forbidden fruit, the collection imagined a world where time stands still and innocence collides with temptation. Kritharioti explored striking contrasts throughout the show, balancing light and shadow, fragility and strength, while presenting a contemporary vision of femininity that is both powerful and poetic.

The collection’s visual language was defined by an interplay of textures and tones. Deep black velvet evoked mystery and darkness, while delicate white lace, sheer tulle, and weightless fabrics conveyed purity and vulnerability. Vivid red couture gowns punctuated the monochromatic palette with bursts of passion, gold accents hinted at lost divinity, and shimmering silver reflected the light like ice, reinforcing the collection’s frozen dreamscape.
